Utilising the latest technology, the API-led platform seamlessly integrates with over 20 third-party applications, enabling financial institutions to self-configure the platform effortlessly and efficiently to meet the rapidly changing demands of the market Automated Testing Technical Architect As an Automated Testing Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing strategies and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers and project managers, to define testing requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in the automated testing process. About you Test Strategy and Planning Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the automated testing strategy. Analyse functional and non-functional requirements to identify suitable testing approaches and methodologies. Develop a comprehensive plan to build out the automated testing capability in-line with the strategy. Test Automation Framework Design and Development Design, develop, and maintain an efficient and scalable automated testing framework. Evaluate if we are using the best fit tooling or suggest alternative appropriate tools, technologies, and frameworks for test automation. Define coding standards, guidelines, and best practices for test automation codebase. Implement reusable components and libraries to accelerate test script development and maintenance. Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. Test Script Development Collaborate with QA engineers and development teams to identify test scenarios and create automated test scripts. Write robust, maintainable, and efficient test scripts using most appropriate programming language. Implement data-driven and parameterised test scripts to maximize test coverage. Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to ensure test script quality and adherence to coding standards Test Execution and Reporting Execute automated test scripts and analyse test results to identify defects and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with QA engineers to investigate and triage issues, providing detailed bug reports. Generate test reports, metrics, and dashboards to track test coverage, pass rates, and other relevant quality indicators. Continuous Improvement Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in automated testing. Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing. Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to streamline test automation workflows. Mentor and train team members on automated testing concepts, tools, and techniques. What you will be doing Proven experience (5 years) as an Automated Testing Architect or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Spec flow, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG). Proficiency in programming languages used for test automation (e.g., C#, Python, Java) preferable experience in C# Strong expertise in designing BDD automated tests Proven experience in Performance testing using client and server site Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git). Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members. Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies.
